The World Masters Games is a world-renowned international large-scale multi-sport event that is held every four years. It advocates the philosophy of “lifelong sports” and “sports for all” as well as being an important international indicator of sports tourism.

The FIS Nordic World Ski Championships are coming home to Norway. The World Championship events include nordic skiing's three disciplines: cross-country skiing, ski jumping, and nordic combined 

The Victoria 2026 Commonwealth Games will be held from March 17 - 29 and Geelong, Bendigo, Ballarat, Gippsland and Shepparton have been announced as the joint host cities. 

With track and field part of the multi-sport European Championships it was announced Tuesday 10 November that the next standalone European Athletics Championships will be held in Rome in 2024
